... we were half-way across the world in China being handed our first child, Laney. Our lives were changed forever in that moment. We continue to be amazed and delighted (and sometimes quite frustrated!) by this energetic little girl who has taught us so much about ourselves and unconditional love. She has changed a lot since that day, but she will always be our little baby girl. We love you Laney.

Happy gotcha day and adoption day Allen family. She sure has changed from that scared little girl that the nannies handed to you four years ago into such an incredible little girl.
We feel incredible blessed that we got to spend that amazing day with y'all and that such beautiful friendship has come to be!!!
